Dear All,

 

This has reference to the series of meetings the officers under the Chairmanshiop of R Chenadurai had with our team on 18th February 2009, 16th February 2009 with Pushpanjali Enclave, on 24th with the undersigned and expressed the willingness on the part of the DGCA  and had assured that the short term measures i.e. no landing after 10.00 pm till 6.00 am in the morning shall be introduced shortly as the recomendations have been forwarded to the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

 

Till the time of writing this mail no measures have been put in place and on contrary to it the landing continues till 00.30 hours and resumes at 4.00 hours in the morning. It seems our requests have fallen deaf ears of the Babus sitting in the airconditioned offices and also of the GMR who is managing and operating the IGI.

 

Unfortunately despite having sought for intervention of all the authorities and highest offices of the Country the problem is multiplying with each passing day. The mandate of the Constitution of India – “Government of the people by the people and for the people’ has been changed to “Government of the few, by the few and for the few”. The few includes those who have capacity to fund forth coming elections as the Union Minister for Civil Aviation has no time to respond to our mails and look into the files.

 

Even the copies of the mails marked to President of India and Hon’ble Prime Minister of India have failed to evoke any response from the Government.
